Tulane Book Delivery

Delivery between Matas Library and Howard-Tilton/Offsite Depository

Some materials may be available for delivery service from uptown and from the off-site depository. 

The book/item must be immediately available (neither checked out, nor on Hold or Reserve) to be eligible via the Library Catalog for delivery from the Howard-Tilton Library or from the Offsite Depository.

Some types of materials may not be requested for delivery, such as DVDs or materials from any of the Special Collections.  Make sure to designate Matas Library as your pick-up location.   Borrowing periods are dependant on the library loaning the specific item.

Users requesting this service should receive an email when the book is retrieved and placed in transit.  Please allow a work day for delivery once you receive an email from the Library Catalog's Automated System.  Deliveries are received at Matas Library after 1:00 p.m.  weekdays (Monday-Friday).   You may check your online account or contact the Matas Library, if you wish to have a delivery status for an item that you have requested.  The Matas Library desk will contact the requester once the material has arrived.
