The Research Support, Web Resources and Education Librarian is a research, reference and user services librarian, who also is specifically tasked to provide Evidence-Based Medicine (EBM) resources, tools and training, as well as research support in biomedical resources, tools and data management to the departments, programs and library user community in the Health Sciences Center at Tulane University. This librarian provides research and data management support, information services, reference transactions, access to health information resources; teaches classes in the library’s education program, and plans specialized instruction and programming tailored to the clinical, biomedical research and public health community. Additionally this librarian also provides leadership and guidance for all matters related to web technologies and the libraries website. This librarian provides responsible guidance for a functional Research Services Desk and Web-based operations while also serving in research support and education roles.
